So, I've had a project planned to fully use ElevenLabs, but it didn't withstand my testing phase. You can get some incredible results. I've been testing it with v3 for calming narration. The main issue is the voice inconsistency - no matter how incredible this tech is, it often fails. I've wasted a lot of credits for unusable results. The AI switching accents is a thing and ruins it all.

They don't care about their customers. I was using one of their legacy default voices - "Josh" for almost a year as part of an ongoing project i had. They decided to delete the voice along with many other default voices for no technical reasons. I kept begging them, asking them to bring the voice back. They told me that there were new voices that had replaced the ones they deleted but the new voices were different voices and were not a substitute. After weeks of asking them constantly and explaining to them i needed that voice for a project, I had no choice but to abandon my project. I tried to clone the voice too but they have changed the verification protocols and you can only now clone your own voice.

i have waited 5 days and made multiple request tickets because 11labs say i never paid. so i cant use my voice app at all. I isent my invoice twice, emailed a number of times, absolutely no response. Just aewful. I am going to use another company.
